In the Engineering Co-op role, you will contribute to the design, engineering, manufacturing, and testing of custom HVAC equipment, including chillers, air conditioners, high-efficiency filtration systems, absorption units, coolers, fans, dampers, and related components.

You will...
  • Apply engineering principles, organizational skills, and teamwork in a real-world setting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, manufacturing, purchasing, sales, and customers
  • Support the development of equipment that is safe, reliable, efficient, and cost-effective
  • Select and specify materials, components, and purchased parts; assist with writing specifications for custom components
  • Troubleshoot and help resolve manufacturing, testing, and service issues

We are looking for...
  • Candidates currently pursuing a BS/MS Degree in Aerospace, Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Candidates who are 1-4 years away from graduation from an Engineering School or University
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Candidates who preferably have CAD or drafting experience
  • Highly motivated candidates with great communication skills

Just so you know...
  • This position is an entry-level co-op role.
  • Our co-op students will work with engineers who will mentor you.
  • You must be in good standing with your university and/or field of study
  • The duration of our co-op assignments is typically 10-12 weeks, depending on your school's co-op rotational program
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and a background check is required.
  • Our Engineering Co-op position may require access to information subject to US government contractual restrictions, including Unclassified Nuclear Information (UCNI) or other controlled information. Eligibility to access such information is limited to individuals who meet applicable US legal requirements, which may include ship. Candidates must be able to satisfy these requirements as a condition of employment.
