Application Developer

Summary

We are seeking a skilled Application Developer who is passionate about solving problems, improving workflows, and developing, supporting, and maintaining high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new code and resolve issues across the application stack, creating clean, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• Work collaboratively in a design and development environment.
• Actively provide feedback and participate in formal code reviews.
• Apply agile software development practices and identify opportunities to improve design and development processes.
• Effectively communicate and partner with business owners to develop clear requirements and specifications.
• Review business requirements and propose appropriate technology solutions.
• Analyze existing source code to validate business and technical requirements and support application improvements.
• Contribute to all aspects of the application lifecycle, including design, development, testing, environment setup, deployment, and end-user support.
• Support production applications through proactive troubleshooting and timely resolution of issues.
• Prioritize work effectively and provide regular status updates to ensure work is completed on schedule and meets customer expectations.
• Adhere to development best practices, technical standards, security requirements, and data protection measures.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of application development experience.
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving, design, programming, and testing skills, and the ability to think strategically and learn new technologies.
• Experience working with agile development methodologies.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools.
• Proficiency with development and version control tools, including Git, GitHub, Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with technologies including Angular, JavaScript, GraphQL, C#, ASP.NET, .NET, EF Core, SQL Server, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of web services and APIs, including Web API, GraphQL, REST, and HTTP, and familiarity with common data formats including JSON, XML, and CSV.
• Working knowledge of SQL querying, table design, and stored procedures.
• Microsoft Dynamics development and customization experience preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with others and translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
