Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP ABAP with BW Migration to Google Cloud Platform with strong core ABAP expertise and working knowledge of SAP BW. This role is focused on understanding, debugging, and documenting existing ABAP code that supports SAP BW transformations for a Google Cloud (Google Cloud Platform) implementation.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong expertise in ABAP Objects (OOABAP), including Classes and Methods.
• Extensive experience debugging complex ABAP programs and transformation logic.
• Working knowledge of SAP BW and BW transformation processes.
• Experience with Start Routines, End Routines, Expert Routines, DTPs, and Info Objects.
• Ability to analyze existing custom ABAP code and prepare clear technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with business and technical teams.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to SAP BW on HANA.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) or SAP-to-Google Cloud Platform data migration projects.
• Experience documenting legacy SAP solutions for modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Debug and analyze existing ABAP code, including Classes and Methods.
• Review and understand SAP BW transformation logic.
• Document exists ABAP functionality to support Google Cloud Platform implementation activities.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to clarify business logic.
• Identify issues, recommend improvements, and support knowledge transfer.
• Ensure technical documentation is accurate, complete, and maintainable.
