Summary

Job Title: Lead Backend Engineer
Location: McLean, VA (Onsite – 5 Days)
Employment Type: W2 Only

Mandatory Requirement.

Candidate must have prior working experience with Capital One.

Resumes without Capital One experience will not be considered.

Required Technical Skills.

Strong backend development experience using Scala and Java

Experience with Golang preferred

Expertise in building RESTful APIs

Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS, and DynamoDB

Strong understanding of microservices architecture

Experience with event-driven systems

Experience with OpenTelemetry or similar observability frameworks
