System Engineer – Enterprise Infrastructure & Microsoft Cloud
Location: The Woodlands, TX
Interview: Teams Interview and then in Person
We are looking for a System Engineer to support enterprise infrastructure, Windows servers, Active Directory, VMware, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support Active Directory, OUs, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, and service accounts.
- Build, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016+.
- Support VMware vCenter and enterprise virtualization.
- Support SAN, NAS, cloud storage, and backup environments.
- Work with MSP teams on SCCM/MECM, software deployment, and Windows patching.
- Monitor backup jobs and troubleshoot backup/recovery issues, including Commvault.
- Support Microsoft 365 services such as Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Power Platform.
- Provide support for Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and service requests.
- Use PowerShell for administration, troubleshooting, and reporting.
- Work with internal IT teams, MSPs, and vendors to resolve issues.
- Maintain technical documentation and provide regular status updates.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of Active Directory administration.
- Strong Windows Server 2016+ experience.
- Hands-on VMware experience.
- Experience with SAN/NAS, storage, backup, and archiving.
- Strong Microsoft 365 and Azure experience.
- Knowledge of hybrid messaging and networking.
- Experience with SCCM/MECM and software deployment.
- Strong Windows patching experience.
- Knowledge of Commvault or similar backup tools.
- Knowledge of SolarWinds or similar monitoring tools.
- Strong PowerShell skills.
- Good communication, troubleshooting, documentation, and task-management skills.
Ideal Candidate: Strong hands-on infrastructure engineer with AD + Windows Server + VMware + M365/Azure + SCCM + PowerShell experience.
