Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle SQL Analyst with strong expertise in Oracle databases, advanced SQL development, data analysis, performance tuning, and reporting. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and technical teams to analyze business requirements, develop complex SQL queries, optimize database performance, and support enterprise data initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimize complex Oracle SQL queries and PL/SQL programs.
- Analyze large datasets and provide meaningful business insights.
- Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and views.
- Perform database performance tuning and query optimization.
- Create data extraction, transformation, and reporting solutions.
- Support data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities.
- Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze requirements.
- Troubleshoot production database issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Work with application developers on database design and enhancements.
- Prepare technical documentation and maintain database standards.
- Participate in testing, deployments, and production support activities.

Required Skills

- 8+ years of Oracle Database experience.
- Strong expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience writing highly complex SQL queries.
- Oracle performance tuning and query optimization.
- Database design and data modeling.
- Stored Procedures, Packages, Functions, Triggers, and Views.
- Data analysis and reporting experience.
- Experience with ETL processes and data migration.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) experience.
- Oracle APEX knowledge.
- BI/reporting tools experience (Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, etc.).
- Experience with cloud databases is a plus.
- Government/Public Sector project experience preferred.
- Oracle Certification is a plus.
