Tableau Data Visualization Engineer

Our client is embarking on a multi-year Data & Analytics Transformation Program to modernize its enterprise analytics capabilities. This role is critical to the program''s success, delivering high-quality Tableau dashboards and visual analytics solutions that enable self-service analytics and data-driven decision-making. Partnering closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Data Engineers, and Analytics Solution Engineers, this resource transforms trusted enterprise data into intuitive, interactive visualizations that accelerate the adoption of the client’s modern cloud-based analytics platform.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop compelling Data Visualizations that narrates story about the Data and Business KPI’s,OKR’s.
• Design, develop, and deploy Tableau reports and dashboards that provide key insights into business performance.
• Create and maintain complex Tableau data models, integrating data from multiple sources.
• Leverage SQL to extract, manipulate, and validate data for unit testing, troubleshooting, and ensure the quality of Tableau dashboards and reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Tableau Dashboard issues and data refresh schedules to ensure consistent performance.
• Implement security measures and ensure data is presented to the appropriate audience through role-based access.
• Continuously improve the usability, interactivity, and performance of reports.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Tableau usage.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ Years of Experience with Data Visualization tools exclusively with Tableau.
• SQL
• Tableau
• Tableau Desktop
• Tableau Prep
• Cloud Native BI Tools (Tableau+) experience
• 5+ years of experience as a BI Visualization Engineer or similar role with Tableau experience.
• Experience with BI Governance best practices.
• Solid understanding of database management and ETL processes.
• Agile Development Practices.

• Cloud Native BI Architecture, UI/UX Design practices.
• Workers comp insurance Industry
• SAFe is a major plus
