Role: AI/ML Practice Lead Location: Fremont, CA Duration: Fulltime
Role Overview
As the AI/ML Practice Lead, you will be the visionary and operational architect of our Artificial Intelligence division. You will sit at the intersection of strategy, engineering, and client success, responsible for defining our technical roadmap, mentoring a team of data scientists, and ensuring our AI solutions deliver measurable ROI for our partners.
Core Responsibilities
Practice Strategy: Define the service offerings, toolkits, and "gold standards" for AI/ML delivery within the firm.
Technical Leadership: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of ML models from exploratory data analysis (EDA) to deployment and monitoring (MLOps).
Solution Architecture: Lead the design of scalable, secure AI architectures (including Generative AI/LLMs, Computer Vision, and Predictive Analytics).
Team Mentorship: Recruit, manage, and upskill a high-performing team of Data Scientists and ML Engineers.
Client Advisory: Act as the primary technical subject matter expert (SME) during pre-sales and high-stakes client engagements.
Technical & Professional Requirements
Category Requirement
Experience 8+ years in Data Science/ML, with 3+ years in a leadership
Core Math/ML Deep understanding of linear algebra, calculus, and statistics as applied to ML.
Tech Stack Proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and cloud AI suites (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or Google Cloud Platform Vertex AI).
GenAI & LLMs Proven experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), fine-tuning, and prompt engineering.
Delivery Experience moving models from "notebook" to "production" using MLOps best practices.
