SAP PP/DS Solution Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and configure SAP PPDS solutions for production planning and scheduling
• Perform detailed capacity planning, sequencing, and scheduling optimization
• Work on:
  • Pegging
  • Planning Board / Production Planning Table
  • Constraint-based planning
  • Model Mix Planning & Multilevel Scheduling
• Design and implement end-to-end supply chain planning processes
• Enable cross-location planning and automated response to planning changes
• Configure advanced features like:
  • Time-dependent safety stock
  • Sub-daily & telescopic time buckets
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver scalable planning solutions

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in SAP Production Planning & Control
• Strong expertise in SAP PPDS (Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling)
• Experience in:
  • Interactive planning & detailed scheduling
  • Constraint-based planning
  • Sequencing and optimization
• Hands-on experience with SAP ePP/DS implementations
• Integration knowledge with ECC using CIF (for DSC Edition PPDS)
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes
  (Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Inventory)
• Excellent communication & stakeholder collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Manufacturing / Automotive / Discrete Manufacturing
• Exposure to Repetitive Manufacturing environments
• Experience working on large-scale SAP transformations
