Description SAIC is seeking an
Enterprise Facilities Operations and Maintenance Lead to provide strategic, operational, and technical oversight of a team of facility engineering professionals as well as the Government customer. This role ensures a common operating picture for enterprise-wide facilities, operational continuity, anomaly reporting fidelity, and executive-level communication for facilities across a globally distributed environment.
The role oversees all reporting, interface coordination, and mission-impact assessments related to facilities operations and maintenance. This role maintains strong relationships with government facilities management organizations and Headquarters leadership to ensure facility conditions, disruptions, risks, and mission impacts are clearly understood, escalated, and resolved.

active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. Job responsibilities include: - Lead the enterprise operations and management team.
- Supervise and mentor Facilities Engineers providing technical guidance, workload prioritization, feedback, and professional development.
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting quality, engineering methodologies, communication frameworks, and mission support practices.
- Provide senior-level situational awareness to executive leadership regarding facility anomalies, outages, operational changes, and mission impacts.
- Oversee validation of facility reports for accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and operational relevance.
- Establish and enforce rigorous processes for anomaly tracking, data verification, question resolution, and closure documentation.
- Ensure facility changes-both planned and unplanned-are properly assessed for mission impact and communicated to senior government decision makers.
- Direct the creation of innovative visualizations of facility infrastructure and operational changes, enabling effective executive briefing and rapid decision support.
- Serve as the senior liaison between on-site government facilities organizations, O&M contractors, and Headquarters leadership.
- Cultivate strong working relationships with government partners at multiple levels, ensuring alignment on priorities, reporting workflows, issue escalation, and mitigation strategies.
- Guide the development and maintenance of facility operations plans, recapitalization strategies, requirements documentation, and other enterprise-level engineering deliverables.
- Maintain oversight of deferred maintenance monitoring, outage reporting, and infrastructure performance baselining, as performed within engineering roles across operations.
- Participation in and planning of facility related exercises.
Qualifications Required Qualifications - Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph is required to be considered.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline
- Additional relevant experience may substitute for degree
- 14+ years of experience in facility engineering, facility operations, or facilities program management, including leadership of engineering teams
- Expertise in O&M activities, engineering systems, facility reliability assessments, and mission-critical infrastructure
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage complex, time-sensitive operational environments
- Exceptional executive-level communication skills, including briefing senior government officials
Desired Qualifications - Experience leading data center or other high-reliability, mission-critical facility environments
- Credentialed technical certifications (CFM, PMP, PE, or equivalent)
- Experience supporting Intelligence Community facilities or geographically dispersed enterprise facility programs
Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
