Job Description:
- We have an active requirement for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to support an ongoing SAP development and enhancement initiative.
- Looking for candidates with strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development across ECC and/or S/4HANA environments. The requirement is open to Technical and Techno-Functional consultants, including Senior Consultants, Leads, and Architects with relevant hands-on experience.
Required Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Experience developing and supporting Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.
- Strong experience with ABAP Objects, modularization, debugging, performance tuning, and error handling.
- Experience with BAdIs, User Exits, Customer Exits, Enhancement Framework, and implicit/explicit enhancements.
- Experience working with ALV, Reports, BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, and Function Modules.
- Experience developing and troubleshooting SAP interfaces and integrations.
- Strong understanding of SAP data structures, tables, data dictionary, and database concepts.
- Experience working with functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
S/4HANA Experience
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA development is preferred.
- Knowledge of ABAP on HANA and code optimization.
- Experience with CDS Views, AMDP, and modern ABAP development.
- Exposure to RAP and/or OData services is a plus.
- Experience supporting S/4HANA migrations, upgrades, or implementations is preferred.
Integration / Technical Experience
- Experience with IDocs, APIs, RFCs, Web Services, OData, and SAP integration technologies.
- Experience integrating SAP with external applications and third-party systems.
- Knowledge of middleware/integration platforms is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot interface failures, performance issues, and production defects.
- Experience working with SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI/CO, PP, WM/EWM, or other functional areas.
Techno-Functional Experience
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Work closely with SAP functional consultants to develop technical specifications.
- Analyze existing custom developments and recommend improvements.
- Participate in solution design and technical architecture discussions.
- Support functional teams during testing, UAT, deployment, and production issues.
- Experience preparing technical specifications, mapping documents, and development documentation.
