Overview:

  • This is not a traditional hands-on developer or project management position.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Architecture & Code Reviews: Review .NET application architecture, frameworks, code quality, and development practices to ensure alignment with Americas engineering standards.

  • Full-Stack Oversight: Evaluate front-end and back-end application designs, APIs, middleware integrations, and overall application functionality.

  • Middleware & Payments: Oversee applications connecting core banking, cash management, market applications, and payment processing workflows.

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, with extensive hands-on .NET development experience.

  • Strong knowledge of .NET, ASP.NET, and enterprise application frameworks.

  • Experience reviewing code, evaluating application designs, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.

  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, middleware, and application integrations.

Engineering Leadership Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Lead, Engineering Lead, Development Lead, or Engineering Manager.

  • Experience overseeing multiple developers and enterprise application projects.

  • Ability to review architectural decisions and guide teams toward appropriate technical solutions.

Banking or Financial Services: Experience working with banking applications - mainly Payments or Core banking systems.

Enterprise Application Architecture:

Java Fundamentals: Understanding Java and Java-based frameworks to support potential future modernization.

Plusses:
