In this 100% remote U.S. position , you will bypass basic project management tasks to focus purely on high-level system design, standardizing operations, and actively driving down total cost of ownership. You will report directly to the VP of Business Applications, defending your strategic blueprints and shaping the future of our enterprise landscape. responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end design and scalable strategy for our primary Salesforce environment, ensuring highly secure and clean Apex and LWC code.
• Build robust canonical data models utilizing MuleSoft to seamlessly connect our core CRM with critical enterprise financial and human capital platforms.
• Architect the ongoing decoupling of legacy, point-to-point integrations in favor of a modernized API-led connectivity model.
• Act as the vanguard for technical standards by regularly presenting target-state architectures and data flow maps to the Architecture Review Board for compliance approvals.
• Pioneer our future AI roadmap by establishing ethical governance and preparing to implement native predictive models and SaaS AI capabilities.
• Remain deeply technical by partnering directly with delivery teams to translate strategic initiatives into concrete backend builds and optimizations.

qualifications:

Must-Haves:A minimum of seven years of experience operating as a Technical Solution Architect within a high-growth, highly complex enterprise tech or SaaS organization. Demonstrable architectural mastery of both Salesforce (well beyond the declarative UI) and MuleSoft, or highly equivalent API-led integration platforms. A proven background in championing operational excellence and standardizing massive multi-platform ecosystems. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to confidently defend technical decisions to executive leadership and seamlessly guide execution teams. A strong foundation in data modeling and governance to ensure the foundational data readiness required for future AI and machine learning integrations. Nice-to-Haves:Active and relevant credentials, such as the Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect. Previous exposure to designing data environments specifically tailored for vector databases, large language models, or native AI features. A track record of successfully migrating monolithic application ecosystems into modern, event-driven, API-led architectures.
