Description
We are looking for an IT Site Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical assistance and dependable end-user support in Kansas. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who enjoys solving hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a fast-paced environment. The person in this role will help maintain day-to-day technology operations while delivering a positive support experience across the site.
Responsibilities:
Provide front-line technical support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity problems to minimize downtime for employees and business operations.
Manage support requests through the ticketing system, ensuring accurate documentation, timely updates, and proper follow-through.
Install, configure, and maintain workstations, printers, and other site technology equipment in alignment with company standards.
Assist with user account support, device setup, and basic access-related issues to help employees stay productive.
Support local technology infrastructure by identifying recurring issues, escalating complex problems, and coordinating with broader IT teams when needed.
Contribute to system readiness by performing routine checks, updates, and maintenance on end-user technology and support tools.
Requirements
Experience providing desktop or site support in an IT environment.
Working knowledge of technology infrastructure concepts, including endpoint devices and basic network troubleshooting.
Familiarity with ServiceNow or a similar IT service management platform for tracking and resolving support requests.
CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent foundational technical knowledge.
Network+ certification or practical experience supporting network-related issues.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to end users.
Ability to manage multiple support tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail and service quality.
