Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Business Analyst with strong expertise in Healthcare Interoperability and FHIR standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with multiple healthcare vendors, payer/provider systems, healthcare data exchange, and interoperability initiatives. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills to support complex healthcare integration projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Healthcare Business Analyst experience.
• Strong understanding of FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources).
• Experience with Healthcare Interoperability (Interops) initiatives.
• Knowledge of healthcare data exchange standards including:
  • FHIR
  • HL7
  • EDI/X12
  • APIs/Web Services
• Experience working in multi-vendor healthcare environments.
• Strong healthcare domain knowledge involving payer, provider, care management, or population health.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, user stories, workflows, and process diagrams.
• Ability to work independently as an Individual Contributor (IC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JIVA, Facets, QNXT, Epic, Cerner, or similar healthcare platforms.
• Experience in healthcare integration and data mapping.
• Knowledge of CMS and healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Experience supporting API-based integrations and interoperability projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements for interoperability initiatives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
• Define FHIR resources, mapping requirements, and integration workflows.
• Create functional specifications, use cases, and gap analyses.
• Support testing, validation, and implementation activities.
• Drive communication across multiple vendors and business units.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and interoperability requirements.
