Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Scrum Master to serve as a Servant Leader and Agile facilitator for 2 3 cross-functional Agile teams. The ideal candidate will champion Scrum and Kanban practices, foster a culture of continuous improvement, remove impediments, and empower teams to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently. This role requires strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
The Scrum Master will play a critical role in driving Agile maturity, improving team performance, and ensuring successful delivery of software development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Agile Leadership & Facilitation
  • Serve as a Servant Leader for 2 3 Agile teams, promoting Agile values, principles, and best practices.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement, and Release Planning.
  • Coach teams on Scrum and Kanban methodologies while fostering self-management and accountability.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team productivity, quality, and delivery outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile processes and maintain transparency across all project activities.
Team Coaching & Development
  • Coach Product Owners and team members on backlog management, user story development, estimation techniques, and sprint planning.
  • Foster collaboration, communication, and teamwork across cross-functional teams.
  • Empower teams to self-organize and continuously improve their delivery practices.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and encourage healthy team dynamics.
Project & Delivery Management
  • Monitor and communicate sprint progress, team velocity, release forecasts, and key performance metrics.
  • Identify, track, and remove impediments that impact team productivity or project delivery.
  • Support prioritization and resolution of defects, issues, and technical dependencies.
  • Maintain Agile process documentation and team working agreements.
  • Assist with release planning and delivery coordination across multiple stakeholders.
Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration
  • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, Business Stakeholders, Technical Support teams, and Leadership.
  • Provide visibility into team performance, sprint outcomes, risks, and dependencies.
  • Improve transparency by effectively communicating project status, priorities, and delivery expectations.
Metrics & Continuous Improvement
  • Develop, track, and analyze team performance metrics to identify opportunities for process optimization.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Utilize Agile metrics and reporting to drive process improvements and delivery excellence.
  • Ensure teams consistently follow Agile principles of prioritization, collaboration, visibility, and accountability.

Required Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
Certifications
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) required.
  • SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or other SAFe certification preferred.
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Business Analyst in software development environments.
  • Experience supporting multiple Agile teams simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Solid knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience working closely with Product Owners, Development Teams, and Business Stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate effectively with engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within SAFe or other scaled Agile environments.
  • Background supporting enterprise software development projects.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with Agile metrics, reporting, and performance measurement.
