Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Implementation Consultant to support Oracle HCM implementations.
This role involves leading the implementation and continuous improvement of the Oracle Cloud HCM application to enhance business processes. Responsibilities include documenting business requirements, system configuration, testing, and supporting deployment activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong HCM business process knowledge, a broad understanding of Oracle Cloud solutions, industry best practices, and technology design principles. The role requires independent judgment to deliver high-quality work products across complex implementation engagements.
The consultant will perform varied and complex duties to successfully implement the Oracle HCM product and meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple full lifecycle implementations of Oracle HCM Cloud (Fusion), including planning, design, build, testing, and go-live.
- Provide strong functional expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud applications.
- Configure and support Fast Formulas, OTBI, and Oracle reporting tools.
- Lead project teams and manage workstream leads to ensure deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Facilitate workshops, gather and document business requirements, and conduct fit-gap analysis.
- Design as-is and to-be business processes and prepare solution blueprints.
- Conduct product demonstrations, proof of concepts (POC), and conference room pilots (CRP).
- Perform functional configuration and coordinate design across functional workstreams.
- Guide testing cycles, including test case preparation, execution, and user validation.
- Support cutover planning and go-live preparation activities.
- Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations.
- Advise on business process best practices and system strategy.
- Assist with legacy data conversion activities.
- Train HR staff and end users on Oracle HCM functionality.
- Lead business requirements meetings and drive key project decisions.
- Plan and organize tasks while tracking and reporting progress against deliverables.
- Anticipate project needs, propose alternative solutions, and support delivery teams as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of HCM implementation consulting experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Oracle HCM Cloud.
- At least 3 years of functional advisory or consulting experience across Oracle HCM Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and Absence Management.
- Minimum of 2 full lifecycle Oracle HCM Cloud implementations.
- Strong expertise in North American HCM business processes and U.S. regulatory requirements.
- Prior experience working with a consulting or system integrator organization.
- Oracle Cloud Certification preferred.
