Senior Performance Test Engineer – NeoLoad / SAP

We are seeking an experienced Senior Performance Test Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in NeoLoad to support performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing for enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate will have experience testing SAP platforms, CRM applications, analytics solutions, APIs, middleware, and complex system integrations in high-volume transaction environments.

The selected candidate will develop and execute performance test strategies, analyze system behavior under varying workloads, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide recommendations to support release readiness and production stability. Experience with SAP BRIM, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Convergent Mediation, SAP Datasphere, and CRM-to-SAP integrations is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Testing & Execution

• Define performance testing strategies, workloads, non-functional requirements, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.

• Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, scalability, and regression tests using NeoLoad.

• Simulate real-world enterprise workloads, including billing cycles, payment processing, tolling transactions, mediation events, CRM interactions, analytics queries, and batch processing.

• Validate application performance under concurrent users, high-volume API traffic, large transaction loads, and peak processing conditions.

• Conduct end-to-end performance testing across SAP, CRM, analytics, middleware, APIs, and customer-facing applications.

SAP & Enterprise Integration Testing

• Test enterprise applications and integrations involving:

  • SAP BRIM, including Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing, FI-CA, and Subscription Billing.

  • SAP S/4HANA and supporting SAP modules.

  • SAP Convergent Mediation (CM).

  • SAP Datasphere for analytics and data integration.

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), including customer service and case management.

• Validate bidirectional CRM-to-SAP and SAP-to-CRM integrations, including billing requests, account updates, invoice status, and customer data synchronization.

• Test synchronous and asynchronous integrations, APIs, message queues, batch interfaces, and event-driven processing.

Performance Monitoring & Analysis

• Monitor response times, throughput, error rates, resource utilization, and system saturation points.

• Analyze test results across application, integration, database, and infrastructure layers to identify performance bottlenecks.

• Establish performance baselines and conduct release-to-release benchmarking and regression analysis.

• Prepare detailed performance reports, dashboards, executive summaries, and go/no-go recommendations.

Test Automation & Release Support

• Develop, maintain, and execute reusable NeoLoad performance test scripts.

• Perform API, integration, and data-pipeline performance testing.

• Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.

• Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), project increment cycles, demonstrations, go-live, and hypercare.

• Follow established SDLC, quality governance, documentation, and release-readiness processes.

• Maintain test plans, test scripts, technical designs, diagrams, impact analysis reports, and lessons learned.

Collaboration

• Collaborate with SAP teams, CRM teams, developers, architects, infrastructure teams, business stakeholders, and project leadership.

• Communicate performance risks, test findings, and remediation recommendations.

• Promote performance testing best practices and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall IT testing experience.

• 4+ years of hands-on performance and load testing experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with NeoLoad (mandatory).

• Experience testing enterprise-scale applications with high transaction volumes.

• Experience testing SAP systems, CRM platforms, analytics platforms, and complex enterprise integrations.

• Strong understanding of load, stress, endurance, scalability, and performance regression testing.

• Experience with API, middleware, batch processing, and asynchronous integration performance testing.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, reporting, and communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP BRIM, SAP S/4HANA, or SAP ECC.

• Experience with SAP Convergent Mediation (CM).

• Experience with SAP Datasphere.

• Experience testing bidirectional CRM-to-SAP and CRM-to-ERP integrations.

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE or similar CRM platforms.

• Experience in tolling, transportation, public-sector, or other high-volume transaction environments.

• Experience with cloud or hybrid infrastructure performance testing.

• Familiarity with CI/CD integration and performance test automation.

Work Arrangement & Engagement Requirements

• This is a primarily remote position requiring candidates to reside within the continental United States.

• Onsite attendance in Middletown, Pennsylvania, is required approximately one week per month, based on the project schedule, and during designated project milestones.

• Onsite participation may be required for solution confirmation, project increment cycles, SIT, UAT, go-live, and hypercare.

• Additional onsite post-go-live support may be required.

• Candidates must successfully complete the required national criminal background check and Pennsylvania ePATCH screening before engagement.

• In-person interviews or stakeholder work sessions may be required.
