Job Title: JIRA Specialist

Location-Remote

Role Overview
We are looking for a JIRA Specialist to manage, configure, and support Jira environments, ensuring effective project tracking, workflow management, and collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain Jira projects, workflows, boards, and dashboards.
Create and manage projects, issue types, custom fields, screens, and permissions.
Configure workflows, notifications, automation rules, and approval processes.
Manage user accounts, roles, groups, and access permissions.
Support Agile/Scrum teams with Jira configuration and best practices.
Create dashboards and reports to track project progress, KPIs, and team performance.
Troubleshoot Jira issues and provide support to end users.
Maintain Jira configurations and documentation.
Work with project managers, developers, QA, and business teams to understand requirements.
Support Jira integrations with tools such as Confluence, Bitbucket, GitHub, or other applications.
Monitor Jira performance and coordinate with IT teams for technical issues and upgrades.
Ensure Jira usage follows organizational standards and processes.

Required Skills

Good understanding of Jira workflows, screens, fields, permissions, and schemes.
Experience with Jira Software and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong knowledge of Jira dashboards, filters, reports, and JQL.
Experience with Jira automation and notification configuration.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Basic understanding of APIs and system integrations.
Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
