Job Description:

Job Title: Lead Test Engineering Manager (Server, Server Hardware) 

Job Type: Fulltime

Job Location: Nashville, TN

Work Schedule: Onsite 5 days a week

Pay Rate: $130k, Based on experience

Lead and manage the Test Engineering team. Responsibilities include monitoring test related issues and allocating resources for timely resolution. Oversee the implementation of test updates, ensuring smooth integration and minimal disruption while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction. Serve as the primary liaison between the global headquarters, TE Teams within the organization and the customers engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Test Engineers and Test Technicians assigned to test for the customer product
• Drive test issue resolution with global headquarters and customer
• Monitor for new test software releases; track staged deployment (single rack testing, multiple rack testing, all production) and ensure the process completes in a timely fashion
• Collaborate with Global Alignment Team (GAT) on Test versions
• Maintain awareness of customer test strategy and provide advanced notice and potential impact of changes
• Work with Operations and Process Engineering to define capacity requirements related to test infrastructure
• Support communication of test issue details by Test Engineering team to Quality group
• Actively work towards process improvement, quality improvement and operational cost reduction
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Engineering preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field required.
• 10 years experience in Test Engineering;
• Minimum 5 years leading an Engineering Team
• Basic understanding of server hardware and server testing
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational skills and diligence.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• This is a FULLY ONSITE position; must be able to report onsite daily.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with multiple languages spoken.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Extremely detail oriented.
• Strong written and spoken English skills; Bi-lingual in Mandarin preferred
• Ability to operate independently in multiple locations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to distinguish between colors.
• Ability to bend, stoop, stand/sit for prolonged periods, move about production and warehouse facilities.
