Summary

We are seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer with deep expertise in Check Point firewalls to support a large enterprise network security environment. This hands-on role is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting firewall infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support enterprise firewall and network security solutions.
Manage Check Point R80+, VSX, CloudGuard, and VMware NSX-T firewall environments.
Design and maintain firewall policies, VPN solutions, and cloud security controls.
Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point for complex network security incidents.
Partner with infrastructure and cloud teams to implement secure network solutions.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to security best practices.

Required Qualifications

6+ years of enterprise network or network security engineering experience.
Current Check Point CCSE certification (or higher).
Hands-on experience with Check Point R80+, VSX, and Maestro.
Strong networking knowledge including routers, switches, VLANs, OSPF, and TCP/IP.
Experience securing AWS environments.
Scripting experience with Python, Bash, Ansible, or Terraform.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

VMware NSX-T Distributed Firewall experience.
Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform experience.
Experience with AlgoSec or FireMon.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Cisco or cloud certifications.
