Summary

Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a Deputy Program Manager - Engineering (DPME) for the Hammerhead Program in the Undersea Systems Business you'll lead a highly skilled cross functional team responsible for the development, implementation, and testing of the next generation anti-submarine warfare mine system. You'll ensure the Hammerhead encapsulated effector system meets the new requirements, building off the current architecture to build and field the system through operational test and deployment.

  • Strong background in the Undersea Domain
  • Experience leading teams of 10-20 engineers through large scale system design and implementation
  • Managing engineering resources (e.g. staff assignments, capital equipment, etc.), organizational interfaces, and engineering scope

USD $167,708.00 - USD $186,052.00 /Yr.
