Job Details

Whiztekcorp is seeking a Solutions Architect to support one of our financial clients. As a key contributor, the Solution Architect will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-performance solutions that meet business goals, ensuring long-term success through strategic alignment, robust architecture/design, and ongoing optimization.

Summary

Lead application architecture, design, and system integration
Ensure alignment between software and hardware systems
Define scalable, secure, and cloud-native solutions
Focus on microservices, APIs, and cost optimization
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-performance solutions.

Responsibilities

Act as SME for owned solutions
Understand system strengths, weaknesses, and dependencies
Handle P1 escalations and provide fixes
Align with Product Owners on roadmap and delivery
Manage and reduce architectural technical debt
Create and prioritize backlog items
Work with Architecture, Cloud, Security, and PMO teams
Design reusable and modern reference architectures
Build POCs for new technologies and standards
Ensure adherence to architecture and best practices
Review implementations and validate design compliance
Identify and resolve architecture risks and issues
Participate in architecture communities and reviews.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor s in Computer Science or equivalent
15+ years in architecture/design
5+ years in Java/Kotlin/C# development
5+ years in microservices, APIs, gateways/APIM
3+ years in team leadership
Strong knowledge of application security
Experience with high-availability systems
Database and concurrency experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master s degree
Experience with Google Cloud Platform
Experience with Kubernetes
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to handle complex, cross-functional challenges
Experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders
Leadership in defining processes and driving execution
Effective collaboration and team coordination
