Hiring: Data Center Technician II
Location: Hillsboro, OR – Onsite
Experience: 3+ Years
We are looking for an experienced Data Center Technician II with strong hands-on experience in data center hardware deployment, rack & stack, structured cabling, and infrastructure operations.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
Rack, stack, and cable servers, storage, networking, and GPU systems.
Install rails, mount equipment, label assets, and maintain rack organization.
Install and validate fiber, copper cabling, and power connections.
Perform hardware Moves, Adds & Changes (MACs).
Follow rack elevation diagrams, runbooks, SOPs, and engineering documentation.
Perform hardware validation, LED/port checks, and physical troubleshooting.
Maintain asset inventory, rack locations, labeling, and deployment documentation.
Support deployments, migrations, hardware refreshes, and decommissioning.
Collaborate with engineering, network, and infrastructure teams.
Follow ESD, safety, security, and equipment-handling procedures.
🔹 Required Skills
3+ years of Data Center Technician / Data Center Operations experience.
Strong rack & stack and enterprise server installation experience.
Hands-on fiber and copper structured cabling experience.
Knowledge of server/network rack layouts and PDUs.
Experience with Dell, Supermicro, or equivalent enterprise servers.
Ability to read rack elevation diagrams and technical documentation.
Hardware troubleshooting, cable management, and asset tracking.
Knowledge of ESD and data center safety standards.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in rack environments.
🔹 Preferred Skills
Hyperscale / high-density data center experience.
GPU / HPC infrastructure experience.
AI/ML infrastructure deployment experience.
Hot aisle/cold aisle containment knowledge.
Large-scale hardware refresh and migration experience.
Basic Linux experience.
