Testing Specialist (Hybrid)
Primary Location: Raleigh, North Carolina

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Testing Specialist for our premier client in Raleigh, North Carolina.

WHAT YOULL NEED:
Technical Requirements and Certifications

Computer Science Degree or related discipline; professional certification: 5 years.

Education and Experience

Experience testing business web applications and complex business applications across technologies: 5 years.
Experience in designing test plans, manual test case definition and test case execution, and review and analysis of project requirements: 5 years.
Experience with developing automated test scripts: 5 years.
Experience with HP Testing Tools Suite (ALM/Quality Center, Quick Test Professional/UFT, LoadRunner/Performance Center and SiteScope: 5 years.
Experience developing testing approach, test environment requirements and data strategies: 5 years.
Strong, demonstrated documentation skills (test cases, test plans and test artifacts): 5 years.
Strong Microsoft Suite experience (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint): 5 years.
Experience testing in an Agile life-cycle environment: 5 years.
Ability to learn complex business functions: 5 years.
Ability to organize/manage own work and meet a pre-determined schedule of deliverables: 5 years.

WHAT YOULL DO:
Job Responsibilities:

Review and analysis of project requirements for clarity, understanding and testability.
Development of automatic test scripts for functional and performance testing.
Development of system test plans and manual test cases.
Defect management and reporting.
Execution of the test cases and test scripts.
Providing input or creating testing artifacts to include but not be limited to test plans, test results, metrics and defect reports.
Providing weekly status reports to management.
