We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse implementation program. The PM will be responsible for managing project execution, Agile delivery, Azure DevOps administration, sprint planning, stakeholder communication, RAID management, onboarding coordination, and overall project governance. The role will work closely with Data Architects, Data Engineers, Business Analysts, Fabric Administrators, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of the enterprise data platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project delivery for Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse initiatives.
- Set up and administer Azure DevOps Boards, Epics, Features, User Stories, Tasks, and Sprint structures.
- Create and manage project backlogs, sprint plans, and release plans.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Track project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Maintain RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Decisions) logs and drive mitigation activities.
- Prepare executive status reports, project dashboards, and steering committee updates.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Data Architects, Data Engineers, BI Developers, SMEs, and business users.
- Manage onboarding activities, access provisioning coordination, and team readiness across project phases.
- Monitor project health, resource utilization, velocity, and delivery progress using Azure DevOps dashboards.
- Drive stakeholder communication across multiple geographic locations and time zones.
- Support release planning, QA/UAT coordination, deployment readiness, and go-live activities.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of Project Management experience delivering Data, Analytics, or Data Warehouse projects.
- Strong experience managing Agile/Scrum projects using Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Boards, Work Items, Dashboards, Backlogs, and Sprint Management.
- Experience creating project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and executive presentations.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing distributed teams across onsite/offshore locations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Data Platform or Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
- Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and manage dependencies effectively.
Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
