Role: MRB Liaison Engineer (Airframe Structures)
Location: Wichita, Kansas, U.S. Based, Major Aerospace Hub
Industry: Commercial & Defense Aerospace
We are seeking a highly skilled MRB Liaison Engineer to play a critical role in resolving airframe and systems non-conformances across advanced aircraft platforms. This position offers a unique opportunity to work hands-on in a high-impact production environment, developing repair solutions and ensuring compliance with top-tier aerospace standards.
Core Responsibilities-
Serve as an engineering liaison to production teams across multiple aircraft programs.

Investigate non-conformances directly on the aircraft and develop technically sound repair solutions.

Create and document engineering repair dispositions in response to Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).

Ensure repairs are aligned with regulatory and company standards for structural integrity and airworthiness.

Collaborate cross-functionally with stress analysis, systems, materials & processes, design, quality, and operations teams.

Maintain rigorous documentation of engineering decisions and corrective actions.

Prioritize safety, compliance, and quality in all repair design efforts.

Contribute to reducing product risk and ensuring long-term fleet performance.

Apply engineering best practices and AS9100 principles in daily activities.
You are a hands-on problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced production environment. You bring a high level of ownership, engineering integrity, and familiarity with the operational realities of aerospace manufacturing. Your Boeing MRB background allows you to hit the ground running.
Required Experience & Qualifications-
Bachelor s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.

3+ years of MRB authority experience on Boeing platforms (737, 777, 787 preferred).

Proven ability to interpret and apply Boeing specifications and processes.

Strong working knowledge of airframe structures and systems integration.

Proficiency in CATIA V5 and industry-standard MRB/NCR management software.

Familiarity with AS9100 standards and manufacturing quality requirements.

Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

High level of accountability and a solutions-driven mindset.

Comfortable working cross-functionally in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
