Sheet Metal Installer / Metal Building Technician

Description:
We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Installer / Metal Building Technician to join our team. This role involves installing sheet metal components on pre-engineered metal buildings, including trim systems, doors, hardware, and weatherproof celebrated assemblies. When not actively installing, the position will assist in material preparation and cutting for welders in a steel fabrication environment.

This is a hands-on position requiring strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop and field environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience installing sheet metal on metal or steel buildings

Strong experience with sheet metal trim systems

Proficient with tools such as shears, brakes, drills, grinders, saws, and other fabrication equipment

Experience installing doors, hardware, and weather stripping

General knowledge of steel fabrication processes

Ability to accurately measure and work with metal materials

Ability to lift heavy materials and work on ladders or elevated surfaces

Reliable transportation and strong work ethic

Compensation details: 25-28 Hourly Wage
