We are looking for a high-impact Business Intelligence Engineer who operates from a business-first mindset and can translate complex data into actionable, usable products for stakeholders at scale.
Consultant needs to come from a Business First perspective and attitude, and then the tech stack.
This is not a report builder role.
The client needs someone who can design and deliver repeatable, production-grade data and reporting solutions that serve multiple teams, use cases, and decision-makers.
You must be comfortable owning ambiguity, identifying gaps in data flows, and building scalable solutions that become core to how the business operates.
The environment is fast-moving and product driven. Success in this role requires someone who thinks in terms of systems, adoption, and outcomes — not just dashboards.
What You Will Own
- Design and deliver scalable BI solutions that support multiple business units and users
- Translate loosely defined business needs into structured data models, dashboards, and applications
- Build repeatable, reusable reporting frameworks using Microsoft Fabric
- Drive consistency and standardization across reporting products
- Partner directly with stakeholders to understand decision flows and ensure outputs drive action
- Identify gaps in existing data pipelines and work cross-functionally to resolve them
- Own end-to-end delivery, from data modeling through visualization and adoption
Required Background
- Hands-on experience building business-facing BI products in production environments
- Strong expertise in Power BI and the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps is required)
- Proven experience using Microsoft Fabric to create reusable data/reporting assets
- Solid experience with Snowflake, including modern data engineering patterns
- Must have hands-on experience with Streamlit, specifically for data applications or visualization use cases
- Strong data modeling skills and ability to structure datasets for performance and scale
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and translating needs into usable deliverables
- Comfortable operating in environments with incomplete or evolving requirements
Tech Stack (must have depth, not exposure)
Work Model is a Hybrid role
- Must be onsite in Dublin, CA every Tuesday and Wednesday
Killer Profile – What separates top candidates from the usual - and WHAT WE TRULY NEED
- Builds BI products that are actually used across teams, not just delivered
- Has implemented reusable reporting or data frameworks, not one-off dashboards
- Thinks in terms of systems, scalability, and adoption
- Can clearly explain how their work improved business decisions or outcomes
- Comfortable pushing back on unclear requirements and driving clarity
