Lead Data Scientist

Required Skills

1.     8+ years of experience for Senior GenAI Engineer or 10+ years for Staff/Principal GenAI Engineer in building machine learning models and systems

2.     3+ years of hands-on experience with LLMs and Generative AI techniques, including prompt engineering, RAG, and agents

3.     Expert proficiency in Python, LangChain/LangGraph, and SQL

4.     Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or AWS for building GenAI applications

5.     Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with business SMEs

Roles & Responsibilities

1.     Design, develop, fine-tune, and deploy LLM-based solutions using prompt engineering, RAG, and agent-based architectures

2.     Own and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reusable codebases in Python and SQL

3.     Support deployment of GenAI applications on cloud platforms with optimized resource usage and CI/CD processes

4.     Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, and business SMEs to translate requirements into impactful AI solutions

5.     Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and best-practice guidance to engineering teams

6.     Stay updated with the latest advancements in LLM and Generative AI research and experiment with emerging techniques
