We are seeking an experienced SAP Product Data Management (PDM) Architect to lead the strategy, architecture, and implementation of enterprise product data management solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP PLM, PDM, Engineering Change Management, Material Master Governance, and SAP S/4HANA.
This role will lead the design of a scalable and governed product data landscape supporting Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, and other business functions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead enterprise SAP Product Data Management architecture, strategy, roadmaps, and governance.
Design and implement solutions for Material Master, BOM Management, Product Structures, SAP DMS, Engineering Change Management, Product Classification, Product Version Management, and Product Compliance.
Lead SAP S/4HANA product data transformation, implementation, upgrade, and migration initiatives.
Establish product master data governance, ownership, approval workflows, and data quality standards.
Design integrations between SAP and engineering/manufacturing platforms, including CAD, PLM, MES, and enterprise data platforms.
Support EBOM and MBOM alignment and product traceability across the product lifecycle.
Lead fit-gap analysis, solution design workshops, and future-state architecture discussions.
Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Development, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, and IT leadership teams.
Provide architecture governance, review solution designs, manage risks and dependencies, and mentor SAP teams.
Required Qualifications
12+ years of SAP consulting and implementation experience.
5+ years in SAP Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect roles.
Strong experience leading SAP Product Data Management or product data transformation initiatives.
Hands-on experience with multiple SAP implementations and SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
Strong expertise in several of the following:
SAP PLM, SAP PDM, SAP DMS, SAP ECM, SAP Classification, Material Master, BOM, VC/AVC, MM, PP, QM, EWM, MDG, and SAP BTP Integration Suite.
Experience with EBOM, MBOM, Product Lifecycle Management, Product Change Control, Configuration Management, Product Traceability, and Master Data Governance.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP PLM, SAP S/4HANA, or SAP MDG certifications.
Experience integrating SAP with Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Dassault ENOVIA, Autodesk, or other PLM platforms.
Experience with Digital Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, AI-enabled product development, or product intelligence solutions.
Industry experience in Industrial Manufacturing, High-Tech Manufacturing, Automotive, Heavy Equipment, Energy, or Engineering is highly preferred.
