About The TeamThe InStitch team is part of Inteva's Advanced Development Group, and we work on developing and installing Robotic Stitching systems around the world. We are responsible for developing major mechanical machine assemblies, subsystems and mechanisms; designing electrical and controls systems; programming; and for putting together manufacturing processes. We also market our systems and work with customers, and we bring it all together with a range of tools such as CAD, CAE, structured programming environments, and automation simulations. Our team covers a wide array of responsibilities, and we work with development partners in 3 countries. We have a fast-paced team, and we create new technologies for our customers!
What Will You Get To Work On?
- Support the engineering, design, and development of new robotic sewing technologies
- Identify, unication protocols into our machine controls
- Integrate sensor inputs into Beckhoff and Allen Bradley and other auxiliary controllers
- Support Engineering builds and shipments
Position Requirements Requirements - Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechatronics
Preferred - Programming experience: class projects, university courses, past work experience, personal projects count as experience. Object-oriented languages, can be Visual Studio, VLC, C++, Java, Python, Robot programming
- Hardware Experience: Hands-on experience with microcontrollers or microprocessors (e.g., Raspberry Pi, Arduino, STM32).
- Wiring & Tools: Basic understanding of common electrical wiring conventions, schematics, and hand tools.
- Education concentrations: Mechatronics, Automation, and Robotic Systems preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
