Role Overview
We are seeking a System Architect with demonstrated expertise in Signals Intelligence (SIGINT). This role is centered on creating and describing viable system architectures. The position requires a deep understanding of SIGINT sensor technologies, data processing, system operation, and mission requirements. The selected candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of advanced systems for various missions and will be expected to take on a key leadership role in the successful execution of the program upon award.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and describe viable system architectures functionally with block diagrams, analytical models, and mathematical equations.
- Lead the design and development of SIGINT systems, ensuring compliance with mission requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sensor and data processing systems.
- Cast designs into potential implementations for the development of cost and schedule estimates.
- Conduct performance analysis and testing of systems, including environmental testing and data validation.
- Develop documentation related to design, testing, and operational procedures.
- Represent the technical solution to peers, program management, and customers.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers and team members.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science is required.
Experience: Proven experience in the design, integration, and testing of SIGINT systems is required. Candidates should be able to clearly describe recent SIGINT architecture work and demonstrate knowledge of associated key technical challenges.
Technical Skills: A strong understanding of sensor technologies, data acquisition, and data processing techniques is necessary. Knowledge of communication systems and data transmission protocols is also required. Experience with software tools for simulation and modeling of sensor systems is needed.
Clearance: This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5) investigation, formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI). U.S. Citizenship is required.
