Job Title: Business Analyst 2 

Client: Texas 

Location: Austin 

Job Summary:  

HHSC is seeking a Business Analyst 3 to support the retirement of the CARE system and migration of legacy applications to modern Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) solutions. The role involves gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, documenting workflows, and coordinating with business and technical teams. 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Gather and document business/technical requirements.  

  • Create process flows and functional documentation.  

  • Support legacy system modernization and data migration.  

  • Conduct gap analysis and dependency mapping.  

  • Collaborate with business, data, security, and development teams.  

  • Support testing and implementation activities. 

Required skills: 

  • Strong Business Analyst experience in IT projects.  

  • Requirement gathering and process mapping expertise.  

  • Experience with SDLC, Agile, or Waterfall.  

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills. 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Healthcare, Medicaid, or government project experience.  

  • Knowledge of legacy system modernization and integrations.
