Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Native SAP S/4HANA Technical Lead with strong hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA development, ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, and SAP HANA technologies. The ideal candidate should have experience leading technical development teams, designing scalable SAP solutions, optimizing application performance, and delivering end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations and enhancements.
Experience in SAP BW or BW/4HANA is a value-added advantage, particularly in data modeling, reporting, analytics, and integration with SAP S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design, development, implementation, and support of SAP S/4HANA solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to SAP ABAP and S/4HANA development teams.
- Develop and optimize applications using ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, and SQLScript.
- Design and implement custom SAP S/4HANA extensions, enhancements, interfaces, and reports.
- Work extensively with SAP Fiori, OData services, SAP Gateway, and REST APIs.
- Perform code reviews, technical assessments, performance tuning, and code optimization.
- Lead SAP ECC to S/4HANA custom code remediation, conversion, and migration activities.
- Design and implement SAP integration solutions with internal and external applications.
- Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, architects, business analysts, and infrastructure teams.
- Ensure adherence to SAP development standards, best practices, security guidelines, and performance requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide root-cause analysis and resolution.
- Prepare technical specifications, solution architecture documents, development standards, and deployment plans.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA technical development and architecture.
- Expertise in SAP ABAP, ABAP on HANA, and object-oriented ABAP.
- Hands-on experience with CDS Views, AMDP, and SAP HANA SQLScript.
- Strong knowledge of SAP HANA database concepts, data modeling, and performance optimization.
- Experience with SAP Fiori, OData services, and SAP Gateway.
- Experience with BAdIs, BAPIs, user exits, enhancements, and custom development.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture, data models, and application extensibility.
- Experience with SAP integration technologies, APIs, IDocs, RFCs, and web services.
- Experience in technical design, solution architecture, code reviews, and team leadership.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.
Value-Added Skills
- Experience with SAP BW, BW/4HANA, and SAP Analytics.
- Knowledge of SAP BW data modeling, data extraction, and reporting.
- Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with SAP BW or BW/4HANA.
- Exposure to SAP Datasphere, SAP BTP, and SAP HANA Cloud.
- Experience with SAP Fiori Elements, RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model), and modern SAP development practices.
- Knowledge of SAP migration tools, including SAP Migration Cockpit and custom code migration.
Candidate Profile
- 10 12 years of overall SAP technical experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Native SAP S/4HANA development.
- Previous experience as a Technical Lead or Senior SAP Technical Consultant.
- Ability to lead technical teams and work independently on complex technical challenges.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and technical documentation skills.
- Experience working on large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or transformation projects.
Preferred Candidate: A hands-on SAP S/4HANA Technical Lead with strong ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, and Fiori expertise, along with SAP BW / BW/4HANA experience as an added advantage
