We are looking for Machine Operator for our client in Minnetonka MN.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Location: Minnetonka MN

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $13.75hr - $18.75hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions.
  • Understanding of and ability to utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packages.
  • Ability to prioritize work by determining the sequencing and timing of different jobs based on precedence and importance.
  • Ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts.
  • Ability to make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes under direct supervision.
  • Ensure that relevant job documentation for cell operations and functions is accurate and up to date.
  • Utilize troubleshooting skills to resolve operational issues.
  • Apply interpersonal skills such as conflict resolution, active participation, active listening, interpreting, cooperation, and flexibility within a self-managed team.
  • Communicate ideas, problems, and solutions clearly to all levels of manufacturing management in both written and oral form.
  • Represent the organization positively during tours by demonstrating techniques and sharing appropriate information.
  • Support the organization s policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a positive attitude when interacting with internal and external customers.
  • Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices when performing all operations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance production processes and achieve quality and profitability metrics.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on applicable equipment to maximize efficiency and minimize accidents.
  • Maintain accurate records to ensure traveler and quality documents are accurate and all parts are traceable.
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with management in setting and monitoring individual goals and cell performance metrics.
  • Support all divisional initiatives including Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
  • Due to nature of job The candidate must have Ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts.

Nice to Have:

  • Prefer 6 months of experience working in a medical or other regulated production environments.
  • Previous medical device, manufacturing, or assembly experience is helpful.
  • High school degree or equivalent preferred.
