Job Title: ETRM Openlink Developer Location: Houston, TX(Onsite 5 Days/Week (No Exceptions)) Duration: Contract through end of year
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced ETRM Openlink Developer to support development, configuration, and production support of Energy Trading & Risk Management applications. The ideal candidate will design and develop custom solutions in Openlink Endur to support natural gas and LNG trading business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and support custom solutions in ION/Openlink Endur.
Work closely with business analysts, infrastructure teams, and business users to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Provide production support for ETRM applications including Endur, Zema, and custom systems.
Ensure solutions adhere to development standards and best practices.
Support multiple projects and high-priority production issues simultaneously.
Investigate and resolve technical issues through research and analysis.
Coordinate with vendors, DBAs, infrastructure teams, and other application teams for issue resolution.
Follow source code management and deployment procedures.
Provide off-hours support as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
ETRM & Energy Trading
Experience developing solutions in commodity trading environments
Understanding of:
Natural Gas & Financial Deal Capture
Mark-to-Market and Risk Exposure
Gas Scheduling
Settlements & Accounting
Knowledge of energy markets and regulatory frameworks.
Technical Skills
Strong experience with:
ION/Openlink Endur
Java, OpenJVS, OpenComponents
SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server)
Oracle DBMS & PL/SQL
Version control tools (Git / Subversion)
CI/CD and DevOps practices
Windows security and secure deployment practices
Soft Skills
Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
Education & Experience
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
5 7 years of experience developing ION/Openlink Endur solutions
(JVS and/or .NET with Oracle DB and PL/SQL)
