Seeking an experienced Manager, Web Platforms & Digital Experience to lead the development, modernization, integration, and operation of enterprise websites, web applications, and digital platforms.
This is a hands-on technical management role that combines web engineering, platform architecture, AI-enabled development, technical delivery, and people leadership. The position provides technical direction across modern web development, content management systems (CMS), cloud hosting, APIs and integrations, security, accessibility, performance, analytics, DevSecOps, and production operations.
A key focus of this role is the practical application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to web development and digital experiences. The manager will lead the evaluation, prototyping, integration, and production implementation of generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI services, AI-assisted development, intelligent search, content automation, personalization, analytics, and related technologies.
Engineering Delivery & Platform Modernization
- Lead technical delivery of new websites and web applications, site redesigns, CMS upgrades and migrations, platform modernization, and cloud/hosting improvements.
- Translate business and product requirements into technical roadmaps, architectures, engineering plans, estimates, and delivery milestones.
- Improve scalability, maintainability, developer experience, application performance, and release velocity.
- Identify and address technical debt and opportunities for platform modernization.
- Drive improvements in CI/CD, automated testing, observability, cloud deployment, security, and prTeam Leadership & Development
- Manage, mentor, and develop software engineers, web developers, and other technical professionals.
- Establish priorities, assign technical work, review solutions and deliverables, and manage team performance.
- Provide architecture, engineering, and code-review guidance.
- Develop team capabilities in AI-assisted development, modern web engineering, cloud technologies, security, accessibility, and DevSecOps.
- Foster disciplined software engineering practices and a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Balance hands-on technical involvement with people, platform, and operational management.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical manager with strong web engineering expertise and demonstrated experience using AI to build and modernize websites and web applications.
They should be comfortable using AI-assisted development technologies throughout the web development lifecycle, including prototyping, coding, testing, debugging, optimization, modernization, and ongoing maintenance. They should also have practical experience incorporating AI capabilities into websites and digital experiences, including generative AI, LLM-powered functionality, intelligent search, conversational experiences, content automation, personalization, and AI-enabled workflows.
