Fiber Construction Manager

Must have:

• 
  
  Significant OSP construction and engineering experience, including underground fiber, duct banks, conduits, and building entrances.
  
  


• 
  
  Strong knowledge of fiber installation, fiber types and cable counts, termination, splicing, splice matrices, and splicing plans.
  
  


• 
  
  Experience reviewing OTDR and RFC test results, identifying issues, and coordinating corrective actions.
  
  


• 
  
  Experience with ArcGIS Pro or a comparable GIS platform, utility locates, conflict mitigation, and OneCall systems.
  
  


• 
  
  Telecommunications experience involving dark fiber, optical transport, carrier management, and 1G 100G circuits.
  
  


• 
  
  Knowledge of structured cabling, MDFs, IDFs, telecom rooms, risers, tie cabling, and physical network diversity.
  
  


• 
  
  Strong project/program management skills, including ownership of budgets, scope, schedules, resources, risks, vendors, and deliverables.
  
  


• 
  
  Ability to work onsite for site walks, contractor meetings, and infrastructure-related activities.
  
  

Pay Rate:

$65/hr. to $70/hr.
