Application Administrator - MRO Systems

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking an Application Administrator for a contract position with a Major US Airline located in SeaTac, WA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role focuses on administering and supporting a critical Maintenance & Engineering (MRO) application within an enterprise airline environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with SQL scripting, Oracle database administration, and middleware platforms like Apache Tomcat and JBoss.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate work tasks with onshore and offshore resources (Dev and QE)
• Work with Business Analysts and Product Managers to define and prioritize work for the team
• Perform database backups, restores, environment refreshes, and recovery activities
• Manage application deployments, configuration changes, service restarts, and log analysis
• Coordinate application upgrades, vendor releases, service packs, and patches
• Work with software vendors and infrastructure teams to validate changes and resolve complex technical issues

Requirements:

• Experience administering and supporting a Maintenance & Engineering (MRO) application in an airline environment
• Strong SQL scripting and database query development skills
• Experience creating, testing, and executing SQL data correction and maintenance scripts
• Knowledge of Oracle database administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Experience supporting middleware platforms including Apache Tomcat and JBoss application servers
• Understanding of API integrations, web services, and application-to-application interfaces
• Experience supporting Development, QA, Training, UAT, and Production environments
• Understanding of change management, release management, and production support processes
• Working knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration
• Understanding of airline Maintenance & Engineering business processes
• Strong technical documentation, analytical problem-solving, and communication skills

Pay range: up to $77.24 per hour
