hands-on AI Engineer to design, build, and deliver
AI agents powered by Claude. This is a
pure IC role focused on execution-developing production-ready AI solutions that integrate into existing systems and support real business workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Build and deploy AI agents using Claude to support internal and customer-facing use cases.
- Implement prompt engineering, agent logic, and tool/function calling for reliable AI behavior.
- Integrate AI agents into applications using REST APIs and backend services.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to translate AI use cases into working solutions.
- Support production readiness through testing, monitoring, and iteration.
Required Tools & Technologies- LLMs: Claude (required), experience with other LLMs (e.g., OpenAI) a plus
- Languages: Python (required)
- APIs & Services: REST APIs, JSON, HTTP services
- AI Patterns: Prompt engineering, agent workflows, tool/function calling
- Data & Retrieval: Vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS), embeddings, RAG (preferred)
- Cloud & Dev: AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure; Git; CI/CD basics
- Observability: Logging, monitoring, and basic evaluation of AI outputs
Experience Requirements- ~10 years of overall engineering experience with strong software fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience building AI-powered applications or agents in real environments.
- Experience deploying and supporting AI solutions in production.
- Comfortable working as a hands-on IC in a fast-moving, product-driven environment.
Nice to Have- Experience with multi-step AI agents, orchestration frameworks, or evaluation tooling
- Exposure to e-commerce or consumer-facing platforms
- Familiarity with responsible AI, guardrails, and data privacy considerations
