This role operates in an owner’s representative capacity, requiring both technical depth and project coordination across the full project lifecycle, from pre-FEED through commissioning and startup.

The ideal candidate brings a balance of design involvement, field support, and project execution oversight, with the ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced EPCm environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate directly in structural design and analysis for industrial manufacturing facilities
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and project controls
  • Provide on-site construction support, ensuring alignment with design intent and project requirements
  • Identify and resolve engineering deliverable gaps within stage-gate / front-end loading processes
  • Integrate competing priorities to ensure smooth project execution and delivery
  • Assist in managing scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives
  • Support development and maintenance of project baselines and execution plans
  • Collaborate with project leadership to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and support mitigation strategies
  • Participate in client interactions, reporting, and project status communications
  • Support change management processes, including scope adjustments and documentation
  • Contribute to project planning, budgeting, and scheduling efforts

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing project environments
  • Experience supporting capital projects ($1M–$400M) within an EPCm structure
  • Strong background in structural design and analysis for industrial facilities
  • Proficiency with structural analysis tools such as STAAD, SAP2000, SAFE, STRUDL, or ANSYS
  • Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards including ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI
  • Experience with vertical construction projects
  • Ability to work effectively in an on-site, client-facing environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

  • PE License (or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe)
  • SE License is a plus
  • Prior experience in an owner’s representative role
  • Demonstrated ability to balance technical execution with project coordination

What Success Looks Like

  • Delivers technically sound work while staying engaged in project execution
  • Communicates clearly across teams and stakeholders
  • Anticipates issues early and drives practical solutions
  • Operates with accountability in a highly visible, on-site role
