Non-IT Project Manager

Location: Remote (United States)

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive, highly organized Project Manager for a fast-paced innovation organization. This is a non-technical role created to address a growing execution gap. We are looking for a candidate who excels at driving outcomes, coordinating stakeholders, managing priorities, and ensuring critical business initiatives stay on track in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate has experience in a consulting, agency, marketing, or financial services environment where success depended on stakeholder management, communication, and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive complex, cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution, supporting AI adoption and innovation projects across multiple business units.
  • Coordinate executive updates, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder communications.
  • Ensure project deliverables, presentations, and status updates are completed on time.
  • Identify gaps, remove roadblocks, and proactively drive next steps.
  • Facilitate stakeholder discussions, gather requirements, and track decisions and action items.
  • Coordinate multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-changing environment.
  • Organize meetings, develop project plans, document outcomes, and ensure follow-through.
  • Partner with business leaders to translate work efforts into executive-ready messaging.
  • Support the development and improvement of operational processes and best practices.
  • Maintain clear project documentation, governance, and reporting to help build the foundation of a future PMO.
Required Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of project management or program coordination experience.
  • Background in a shared services or multi-client environment.
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity and thrive in environments where processes are still being created.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams with a varying number of contributors.
  • Strong stakeholder management, expectation management, and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and move work forward without direct authority.
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting executive reviews, steering committees, or leadership forums.
  • Project management experience in marketing or financial services.
