Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Active Directory Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise identity and directory services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server, hybrid identity architecture, security, and directory services modernization.

Must-Have Skills

  • 10+ years of IT infrastructure experience, with strong Active Directory expertise.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS).

  • Experience designing enterprise AD architecture, forests, domains, trusts, and organizational units.

  • Strong expertise in Group Policy Objects (GPO).

  • Windows Server administration and architecture.

  • Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Kerberos, and NTLM.

  • Experience with AD replication, disaster recovery, and high availability.

  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and hybrid identity.

  • PowerShell scripting and automation.

  • Active Directory security, hardening, and access control.

Preferred Skills

  • Azure AD Connect / Microsoft Entra Connect.

  • Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS).NTLM and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).

  • CyberArk or similar identity security tools.

  • Active Directory migration, consolidation, and modernization.

  • Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM).

  • Microsoft 365 identity integration.

  • Experience in the energy or utilities industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain enterprise Active Directory architecture.

  • Lead AD migration, consolidation, and modernization initiatives.

  • Develop hybrid identity solutions integrating on-premises AD with Microsoft Entra ID.

  • Establish directory security standards and implement security best practices.

  • Design domain structures, trusts, replication, and Group Policy strategies.

  • Troubleshoot complex authentication and directory service issues.

  • Develop PowerShell automation for identity administration.

  • Plan disaster recovery, business continuity, and directory service resilience.

  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application teams.

  • Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance.
