Job Title: Warehouse Automation Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a Warehouse Automation Engineer with hands-on experience deploying automation solutions in assembly/manufacturing environments. This role will partner with internal teams and external vendors to design, evaluate, and implement scalable warehouse automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end warehouse automation projects (planning, execution, delivery)
Manage project timelines, vendor coordination, and customer milestones
Track costs, budgets, and ROI for automation initiatives
Present monthly status reports to stakeholders
Perform cycle time & capacity analysis for proposed solutions
Design warehouse layouts using AutoCAD
Define and standardize warehouse automation processes
Evaluate labor savings and automation ROI
Support material flow, PFEP, and packaging requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
5+ years of experience in warehouse/industrial automation
Strong experience with AutoCAD (mandatory)
Proven expertise in project management & vendor coordination
Experience with cycle time analysis, capacity planning, and ROI modeling
Knowledge of PFEP, material handling, and warehouse layout planning
Excellent communication & presentation skills
Preferred Skills
Experience in automotive or assembly plant environments
Exposure to Industry 4.0 / Smart Factory solutions
Background in Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement
