Technical Product Owner (TPO)
Location: Atlanta GA Hybrid

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Java Springboot backend developers in delivering large and complex Microservices applications
Work with customer Technology leadership and Senior Managers in identifying the requirements, convert into features, define acceptance criteria.
Guide the Scrum Master and developers to define User stories and Story points.
Own the product end to end as well as roadmap at the technology/functional level.
Plan the capability, features
The candidate is expected to work collaboratively with Client leadership, Scrum Master and Developers in identifying technical requirements, non-functional requirements and translate them into features and User stories.
The candidate is also expected to drive product demos.
Provide guidance to support the product backlog grooming sessions conducted by Scrum master.
Provide guidance to API developers and UI developers to Design, implement, test and deploy APIs using the latest technologies and best practices.
Agile project delivery End to End ownership in implementing custom build API solutions, communicate risks, issues, challenges and statprogress of the project.
Present program level status updates to the leadership


Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

8+ years of overall IT experience, 4+ years of Product Owner experience with technical background preferably on Java, Rest API Microservices architecture.
Experience in agile software product development.
Strong requirements elicitation, and proven writing skills including the ability to write concisely and clearly for different audiences. Experience with Agile backlog/project management tools.
Experience with successive elaboration and ability to develop Initiatives, Features and User Stories that the DevOps teams can ingest.
SAFe PO/PM certification or equivalent.
Experience in Jira, Jira Align, Github tools
Experience in AWS, Cloud deployments, Pipeline deployments will be a plus
