ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership- Serve as the highest technical authority on the engineering team, owning architectural decisions and long-term technical strategy
- Conduct code reviews and establish coding standards that ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies, frameworks, and AI tools that improve team output and product quality
- Ensure all solutions meet healthcare compliance requirements including HIPAA and relevant data privacy standards
AI Development & Strategy- Identify opportunities across the organization's 300+ clinic network where AI can improve clinical workflows, operational efficiency, and patient experience
- Design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions from concept through production
- Stay current on emerging AI technologies and assess their applicability to healthcare use cases
- Develop a roadmap for AI adoption both within the engineering team and across the broader business
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement- Partner with clinical, operations, and administrative leaders to understand business problems and deliver technology solutions
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language for non-technical stakeholders
- Act as a bridge between the engineering team and business units across all six states
Team Development- Mentor and provide technical guidance to senior engineers
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and engineering excellence
- Contribute to hiring decisions and help grow the engineering team over time
Delivery & Process- Drive agile practices and ensure consistent, predictable delivery of technology products
- Own technical documentation, system design, and architecture decision records
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and cross-functional project planning
Non-Essential Functions:Perform other duties as assigned by management
Experience Requirements and PreferencesEducation:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Finance, Healthcare Administration or another related field or equivalent experience.

Experience:5+ years of experience in software engineering
Highly proficient in C# and .NET, ASP.NET development
Experience in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, GUI
Experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, etc.)
SQL experience optimizing for performance and real time information
Education RequirementsBachelors Degree
