SQA Tester

Job Title: Senior/Lead SQA Tester
Location: FT Remote
Position Type: Multiyear Contract
W2 Hourly Pay Rate: $70/hr.

System One IT is staffing a remote, multi-year contract opening for a Senior/Lead SQA Tester to support a leading financial services customer. Seeking candidates who, in addition to their lead-level software QA testing skills, are well-versed in full life-cycle project management, team leadership, the development of project plans, scope, schedules, costs, and communications. This position will serve as a subject matter expert regarding business functions, systems, policies, and/or procedures
Seeking automation experience, using ADO (Azure DevOps), Selenium, and VS Code tools.
Description:
Perform integration, regression, and functional testing on systems to ensure compliance with system requirements, business practices, and policies. Assists in the analysis of functional and technical requirements and the creation and editing of test cases for new or modified systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist Quality Assurance Analyst to certify system testing complete & ready for production
• Create and edit test cases in accordance with system requirements
• Create, modify, and/or locate the data and conditions needed to execute test cases
• Identify areas for improved testing processes
• Modify, coordinate, and schedule input to maintain the test environment
• Report testing activity, including time spent, testing time lost, and discrepancies found
• Serve as test lead on projects
• Ensure clear, concise, and effective communication of material
• Full life-cycle project management
• Establish and lead project teams
• Develop project plan/scope/schedule/cost/communications
• Procure and/or manage resources/timelines/deadlines/quality
• Risk, Issue, and Change management
• Ensure successful project implementation
• Serve as subject matter expert regarding business functions, systems, policies, and/or procedures
• May assist with addressing employee inquiries or problem resolution
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience in testing complex systems, including various platforms
• Advanced knowledge of development or operations framework methodologies, including Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), etc.
• Advanced organizational, planning, and time management skills
• Advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Advanced skill in maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines
• Effective skill in presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives, and information clearly and concisely
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
