Summary:Acts as a liaison between the business and HR on recurring and routine matters.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:- Field employee questions related to various HR functions and confirmed the employee has received timely assistance
- Assist HR Generalists and other HR team members with special assignments as needed
- Participate in group projects, such as wellness events, benefit open enrollment presentations, and other employee presentations as required
- May assist in recruitment activities, including but not limited to, interviews, selection, hiring and the internal application process of promoting employees
- Complete special projects and duties as assigned
Requirements:Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
This position is 100% on-site and does not offer remote or hybrid work- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related Business discipline
- Minimum of two years' experience working in Human Resources preferred
- Proven experience operating in a large, matrixed corporate environment, preferable in the oil and gas industry
- Experience serving as an HR Business Partner supporting multiple corporate functions while ensuring alignment and consistent HR guidance across the organization
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and coaching skills, a positive attitude, and respond quickly and professionally to client requests
- Possess practical and objective problem-solving skills and work effectively and diplomatically with all levels of the organization
- Possess high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
- Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills, able to discuss HR issues with employees of all backgrounds
- Must be self-motivated and able to handle multiple projects and changing priorities
- Function well in a strong service culture and support employees at all levels
- Able to manage multiple high priority projects with competing deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- May require 10% travel with some overnight stay
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level- The Associate Specialist level requires a bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of relevant job-related experience
- 'The Specialist/Analyst level requires a bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of relevant job-related experience

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
