Job Overview: This position is for a DevOps Engineer responsible for supporting a mission-critical application. The role involves working on large and complex business initiatives to deliver best-in-class customer experiences. The candidate will handle DevOps functions for multiple projects, including enterprise and maintenance releases, while adhering to Agile methodology and ensuring security compliance with enterprise standards. Responsibilities also include monitoring security vulnerabilities, tracking fixes, and ensuring compliance with SOX audit rules.
Responsibilities: - Configure and maintain application servers and processes, ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and security.
- Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real-time, providing end-to-end problem resolution.
- Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
- Work on digital transformation and modernize applications using new technologies.
- Handle complex systems using microservices architecture and large databases.
- Monitor security vulnerability reports and track fixes for reported issues.
Qualifications: - 6 years of experience with microservices-based applications using Spring Boot within a Kubernetes environment.
- 6 years of experience with Cloud and Database technologies (Oracle Cloud is a plus).
- 3 years of experience managing Kubernetes clusters, Docker, and containerization technologies.
- 3 years of experience in a Cloud environment, preferably Oracle Cloud.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and CI/CD-driven development culture.
- 3 years of experience with Tomcat.
- 3 years of experience with Linux/Unix.
- 3 years of experience with Cloud and DevOps tools (GIT/Stash, Fortify, Jenkins, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, including reviewing and tuning complex SQL queries.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
Desired Skills: - Working knowledge of Kafka and IBM MQ.
- Familiarity with JSON and Camel.
- Experience with APIGEE.
Education/Certifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 10+ years of application development and technology experience.

Pay Range: $60 - $65/hour
